The man would steal the Statue Of Liberty and blame it on someone else if he got the chance. But, there's plenty of stories going around that can either confirm or deny what I'm saying. One thing stands certain, however..."Lyin' Stan" is a crook. He always was and always will be. His glorious story about "The Human Fly" only started after Kirby died...and again...there's no one willing to talk about it. So...in the big scheme of things, I suppose it really doesn't matter what story is right and what story is wrong. Just as long as the world realizes that "Lyin' Stan" will never get away with fucking over anyone else. [insert maniacal laugh here] And now...for real...I'm done and movin' on... As OdysseyMiles said, there are three sides to every story. I don't know exactly what happened, but you act like you do. How can you know these things for certain? You've heard stories? How on earth can you be certain that Stan Lee is a liar? I've never heard any creator with any sort of credibility ever attack Stan (not even Kirby or Ditko. Ditko was QUITE outspoken when he was in the industry), so I wonder what you are basing this on? Some rumours you heard from your best friend's cousin's hairstylist's son who used to work at Marvel? The worst critique I've ever heard of Stan was from Alex Ross, who said that Stan needed to give his co-creators more credit. You may very well be right, and Stan may have never created a single one of these characters, but I just don't think so. There are too many people who would call him out on it if it were true. Just take the case of Bob Kane and his getting all the credit for the work Bill Finger did on Batman. Yes, Kane did create Batman, but Finger is responsible for The Joker, Robin and most of his supporting cast. MANY people have called Kane out on his taking credit for Finger's work, so I don't think Stan would be immune to this. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

It's a sort of webbing. It's basically a nod to the "under-arm webbing" from the Steve Ditko designs. That's not webbing.....that's toilet paper hanging out of his ass! "

anyone tired of Bendis fucking with everyone else's characters? i mean characters that appear regularly in other books that he is allowed to completely steer?
and speaking of which (though it wasn't Bendis... or hell, it probably WAS his idead), this whole business of yanking Storm out of Uncanny to go off and get married to Black Panther (in "Adjectiveless" to boot!) stinks to high heaven. they met, like, 2 fucking times. and suddenly we're supposed to think a chance encounter as teenagers when they walked a couple miles together in a dessert is grounds for marriage? i'm really getting sick of Marvel. there's a big writer switch coming up on the X-books again. i get so tired of this. nothing ends up lasting or feeling like its of importance in the books, because they switch up the writers every 2 years or so. all momentum is lost. storylines never get resolved. entire subpluts (hell, A-plots) go nowhere. i'm about ready to give up on this increasingly expensive, decreasingly enjoyable monkey on my back again.
