Ok I hate Marvel....This is absolutely unacceptable. I can deal with Wolverine being on every team and on the cover of every comic book marvel comes out with. I can deal with crap movies I can deal with no cosmic books and the fact that they have ADD.... But Iron Spidey is the fucking last straw....Im going to go to Stan Lees house and slap him for being a whore. I have to do that first cause it will like therapy. Then Im going to their fucking headquarters and beating the brakes off of every editor and every writer there. While doing this I will be talking like Thor. "Mine hammer will drink deeply from your skull by Odin!" Hey, don't slap Stan. He doesn't have anything to do with this. He has no power at Marvel anyway, he's just a figurehead.

I'm positive it is only temporary, mainly being done to sell books and get folks riled up. Of course, they did this kinda thing in the 90s with the whole Clone Saga, and it totally backfired on them. I just hate the whole gimmicky nature of the thing.

 Difference was, DC was pretty upfront from the beginning that the Superman Blue/Superman Red thing was a temporary change that was only going to last for a few storyarcs. Most fans hated that costume, but stuck it out because they knew it wouldn't last. I'm sure Marvel has no intention of keeping this costume around for long, but they are acting like the change is permanent so they can sell oodles of books. Like I said, this is gonna wind up being like the Clone Saga.

Yeah, the costume might have looked halfway decent. Apparently, there is a scene in one of the upcoming issues where Peter tells Tony "but my colors are red & blue" and Tony tells him "my design, my colors".  I think Tony mst be hitting the bottle again. Well, either that, or Marvel Editorial is.

The whole thing is suppossed to be designed by Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man) so that explains the colour scheme and gadgets, but it still looks horrible.
