Totally. UTCM is my favourite Prince movie. GB has its place though and I love everything about it. Really, I love everything about Graffiti Bridge. Some may find that hard to understand, but I do. | |

I saw the whole Purple Rain when I was like seven. But it aired on vh1 last year and after about the first 7 minutes I turned the channel. GB dvd was in the record store the other day, I read the back of it, put it back and walked away. I plan on buying UTCM though....someday  | |

I would suggest seeing them when you're drunk but they'll probably put you to sleep

Don't worry I will help you get through this...Graffiti Bridge can scar you if not properly prepared. Here are some tips to remember and look for....
1. Everybody wants to find Graffiti Bridge. (don't question the crazy shit that comes out of Prince or his protege's mouths...Just nod knowingly and keep watching the movie) 2. Ingrid Chavez the lead female in the movie is some sort of elf nymph frollicking through the movie speaking incoherent poetry. Again do not ask questions...your brain may melt. 3. Tick Tick Bang Bang has been known to cause seizures. The minute you see Prince go to Morris's club avert your eyes or be damned. My friend Nick would be here today if he listened to me.... 4. Respect the skillet....Don't ask...just respect it. 5. and lastly do not take a nap after watching it....You will hallucinate. It's normal but avoiding sleep directly after watching may help.
