Anyone seen this? I had no idea they released this on dvd last year. I had been waiting years to see this baby.


The soundtrack, which included exclusive songs by lou reed, debbie harry, earth wind and fire, cheap trick, iggy pop.....works really well with the film.


Great film technically, very interesting and lush. I actually liked the music too. Thing is, no soundtrack was released.....

Ok, so it is really only for either music or animation fanatics, but its certainly got a mythic status never usually reserved for animation. And i was surprised to like the music, even the debbie harry song is ok.


Cult buffs like anxiety (or anx as i casually noticed?), superspaceboy etc... must know this film, and if u dont, i highly reccomend it.

i think the main characters are some weird hybrid of mouse and human. The cliche, but fun prologue says something about humans being wiped out and animals took over the streets?

Shame about the soundtrack, but the site i just found does give u mp3's.....

man, you love the 80's a bit too much.

anyways, yeah, that was a cool movie. i wonder how it's held up over time.

I used to love this film when I was little, would catch it on The Movie Channel and Showtime all the time.

Mok had a weird, evil Stephen Tyler/Prince thing going on.
