I am writing a magazine article for the Valentine's Day Issue and was wondering if you all liked VDay and why? If not, why? Love M

I guess I don't really like it....too commercial ....too many expectations...romance should be everyday ...even if just in small doses through the year..just being content to be in love and experience everything that goes with it..their actions and yours showing how much u want to be together far out weighs valentines day...that being said though ...if u are in love and experience that feeling everyday then valentines day can be another beautiful opportunity to share how much u care

I have one of those wonderful, trusting, unrealistic loves in my life, and so yes I do enjoy Valentine's Day. Nothing spectualar has to happen. A little wine, some roses, a snuggle, lovers jokes, and all that is beautiful, but the best part of that day is looking around at all the broken hearted, bitter, angry, disillusioned hearts and laugh because we are better then them.

I like V day because I can give all my friends that I love small gifts that show my love! My mom always got me stuff for valentines just to show she loved me. If I'm not with a man, I'll take myself to Vicki C's (Victoria's Secret) and it'll be happy valentine's day to myself! Just a phone call from a good friend on that day is great. It may be commercial, but it's fun doing cute and nice things for your friends and fam. This will be the second v day with my cupcake, I guess I'll have to personalize his gift this time....hmmm

I used to be a big fan of all romantic holiday's.....time to show a lil extra love and all...but after many years of mocking by my wife (calling me mushy, corny or actually and literally forgetting the day at all!!!)...and overall lack of receptivness on her part...I gave up on my romantic intentions towards her and now just when watching other's around me enjoy their bliss

I will one day have that person who appreciates me.....
