I like most vinagrettes.
I love Cardini's Caesar dressing.
Sometimes balsamic vinegar and oil is good, too.
I also like Italian.

That's my favorite-est salad. Dark leafy greens, onions, cucumber, red pepper, carrots, a few dried cranberries and a few candied pecans with a yummy balsamic vinagrette. Maybe some smoky gorgonzola. drool

thousand island is the nastiest dressing ever, and it's not too appealing to the eyes either ill I never got why McDonald's put it on their BigMacs. I used to always tell them NOT to put the "special" sauce on it. lol I love Honey Mustard,Ranch , and sometimes Raspberry vinagrette. I have to have my salad smothered in dressing too. Every piece has to be covered.

i think thousand island is SKANKY! isn't it just tartar sauce and french dressing mixed together? SKANKY!!!!

i'm not crazy about creamy dressings like ranch or bleu cheese either. i don't know why i can deal with french dressing, though if i use french dressing, i want the cheapest, most sugary nasty french dressing i can find. that's a trashy '70s indulgence, what can i say.

I like vinaigrettes, regular Italian dressing, or just oil and balsalmic vinegar on salads. I hate creamy dressing, but I do love blue cheese.

is it really tartar sauce and french? ill It's weird because I use tartar sauce on my fish and hushpuppies. I like to dip my french fries in French dressing too, but the two mixed together.....eww. lol

'French' no no no! fries have to go with good old mayonnaise.

A salad goes well with a simple vinaigrette, which you can complicate with all kinds of delicious ingredients.

As long as you keep ketchup away from me. That's just gross.

Plain old oil & vinegar is my staple. Balsamic vinaigrette, Italian and the Japanese ginger dressing is good, too.
