My Daughter... ...won an award from her school..!! 
My ex just called me to tell me she got a letter in the mail from the school my daughter attends...and it said: "Congratulations, we are proud to inform you that your child will receive the (school name) award of excellence. Teachers select students to receive this award based on outstanding achievement in academics, citizenship or effort. We are proud of your student, and appreciate the support and encouragement you have given your child in earning this recognition. Please join us at the awards recognition night (info about awards night here)." My daughter didn't even know...lol  ..Looks like dinner at her favorite restaurant and a million and a half hugs are due to her next week... 
Don't you love it when your kids do something wonderful out of the blue??...So proud.  | |
