anyone seen it? saw it a few months ago...man it was STRANGE  but i LOVED it!!

i've seen both - 'downtown 81' was hard for me to follow, though it was fun to look at. jean michel was quite the cutie.
and i've seen 'basquiat' COUNTLESS times...courtney love as madonna, david bowie as andy warhol, parker posey as whoever the hell she wants to be...i'm SO there! 
and it was my first time seeing jeffrey wright in anything - he's kinda amazing. if you liked him as basquiat, you gotta see him in 'angels in america'. | |

i thought it was funny that courtney was casted as madonna (thinking of some weird MTV award moment where both met, courtney being her usual crack head)
