a question about cats and slugs.. so i have discover that i have a bit of a slug problem in my room which leads out to the backyard,my door is adjacent to my bed and lately or rather today i discovered the cat trying to devour a slug,of course this isnt the first time with slug problems,they been there before. my questions are the fallowing
1. How do i get rid of the Slugs that are coming into my room! 2. Does the slug carry some sorta of venom or something else that might get the cat sick? 3. are slugs venomous to humans? .. sorry if this sounds silly but im not much of a bug person,and i havent had much contact with insects ever since i left san-francisco..well thank you for hearing me out | |

I dunno if slugs will hurt the cat, but I don't think so. Slugs can't hurt you at all.
Try putting a shallow dish (like a pie pan) with some beer in it on the floor.Slugs are supposed to love beer and will drink it till they die. Seems like a nicer way to go than getting melted by salt.

On my way to the bathroom one night I stepped on something wet and squishy!!! The next day I noticed a slug trail on the floor and where I had stepped on it the trail was just a little wider. I found the slug high up on the wall still going strong!
If cats eat slugs, maybe another cat would help | |
