jone70 said: Not all men cheat, but I'm of the opinion that "if they cheat on ya once, they'll do it again." Same goes for women. Of course there are always exceptions, but for the most part, I think it's true.
I cheated once in retaliation to being cheated on b/c I wanted my boyfriend to hurt as much as he hurt me. In retrospect I realize that is faulty reasoning b/c the 'cheater' obviously doesn't care that much about you or they wouldn't cheat and therefore, their feelings probably won't be that hurt if you do it to them. I foolishly gave the ex too many chances and he took advantage of them all...which is why I now have a strict one strike & you're out rule when it comes to cheating. But anyway... I KNOW I'll never cheat on anyone again or even knowingly be the "other woman" with a guy who has a girlfriend because I would never want to hurt anyone like that. exactly. what comes around goes around.... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

opporunity + motive + low or no chance of getting caught= nearly everyone will let it cross their mind, and the majority will do it--male and female. you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

I simply can't handle the emotionality of forming more than one liaison at a time. When I give my heart, I give it. When I take it away, I take it. But then again, I'm a girl.

there is no "low or no chance" of getting caught when the one you do it for is yourself. Your soul, deep inside you, like that child from a marrage, will know, alwasys, and you, as so many others, will hurt that child, forever. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

A bit of a sidebar.
It's interesting that the thread is titled "DO ALL MEN CHEAT?" Unless the "MEN" being referred to are gay, there are also WOMEN involved in the cheater equation. I found it very strange that during the time of The Bridges of Madison County, most women swooned and cooed over the Meryl Streep character's infidelity. This was rationalized as some beautiful Love Story... ...("I think i'm gonna barf.") with her taking her one shot at true happiness. On the other hand, the Michael Douglas character in Fatal Attraction was excoriated yet his partner in crime (the Glenn Close character) was in too many discussions given a pass. She actually received victim status in some cases instead of being viewed as the psycho-nutjob she was. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 1/29/06 15:48pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
