I got the job! Last week I was in Oxford for an interview and yesterday I found out that I got the job!
As long as the Immigration Office doesn't mess things up in the last minute I will be working as a teacher in Japan!   
The contract is for one year starting in late March / early April, but if everything works out they claim to be more than willing to extend it. I don't know where exactly I will be located yet, but I'm hoping for Nagoya. We'll see... Either way, I'm really excited about it and I keep my fingers crossed that all the paperwork will go through without problems! | |

MarieLouise - That's definitely how I feel about it too; I will be working full-time but it will still be a fantastic adventure! Some decisions in life are no-brainers no matter how intimidating or demanding the consequences at first seem to be. And no, I don't think Japan was all that close to Belgium last time I checked. But I think even Belgians would be let into Japan if they would want to come visit.
