When I was eleven I burned my thigh really badly. After a couple of weeks I got to go back to school. While at the lunch table, I got up too fast and the table basically ripped my scab off through the covering. That was some serious pain, and to add on to it, the woman in the school office asked me if I wanted them to call up William to take me home. I'm thinking, who And she looks at me confused and says, William, your father. I'm looking just as confused as she is because I never knew my father, and I was told his name began with a D. Then I got excited because I'm thinking, that's my dad, I have a dad! Finally I told her to call my brother so he could take me home. When he and I were walking home I asked him who William was. He says he doesn't know. I say, well the woman said his name was on my birth certificate. Silence. He's like, Dee Dee that's Sam's (my other brother) dad...After all these years we always pronounced his name as Whaam for some reason. And I just went back to knowing my father as a light skinned man with a name that began with a D...

Oh, and William died last night.

I just found out that Chris Penn died.
