my theory is that the different "pockets" of society try to get to know each other because they want something the other has...or feel the need for acceptance by each others' element. that's my theory and in my experience it is true. more often than not though, either side is disappointed in the other and it doesn't work out because their qualities (and lack thereof in some cases) are too different. one calls the other "priveleged" while that other calls the former "trash", etc.

two different worlds will always try to mix, but i believe, though we are all the same underneath, the superficialities of our society and financial situations, education, access to good resources etc will always divide us to some degree...at least in this day and age and throughout history, apparently. so we get the romeo and juliet syndrome as a result: people from different sides of the track.

I've heard of this, and a few girls I know are in now or have been in this situation. It never ends well. disbelief

It's not for me. While I can't stand the "good guy" type -I'm too young to settle into domesticity and movie nights, zzz I wouldn't date a bad boy or girl either. Something in the middle is ideal. Bad enough to have fun with, but good enough to take home to meet the family.

I mean who u wanna be with Urkel or LL Cool J?

You consider LL Cool J "bad"? eek
