i usually start from the neck down the shoulders and arms, work my way down

I have a very set routine in the shower.
If I'm washing my hair (which I only do every other day) I wash my hair first, then add conditioner (once or twice a week I use an olive oil hair masque also). Then I brush my teeth (yes, in the shower) then wash my body, starting with arms, then front to back then legs. Then I shave if needed. Sometimes I then use a special pumice-y scrub for my feet. Then I wash my face. Most days it's just a regular daily cleanser, but I exfoliate about once a week also.
I dry off in the same manner, ending with my hair and wrapping it in a towel.

There's a whole after shower routine too, but I think I've said too much already.

I go from the top down. I do the "in and out bits", last. I take showers in the morning and baths at night.

Interesting question because I think we all have our routines...

Always daily showers:

1. Shampoo
2. Conditioner - so that it has maximum exposure in my hair.
3. Arms n Chest
4. Balls
5. Legs n Feet
6. Ass
7. rinse
8. Face
9. rinse conditioner

Usually, it's:

Wash face

Wash hair and put in conditioner, but don't rinse yet

Exfoliate entire self w/body brush

Mild (yet effective!) soap for cootchie, booty and pits

Rinse conditioner

Run water as hot as I can stand it on sore back/shoulder muscles

Get out

Face first, ass last.

Oh, and I prefer baths over showers for relaxing and showers over baths for getting myself going. Depends on my mood, I suppose.

Showers.

First I begin with the face. Then I rinse.
Next, I say, "What the fuck...?" as I notice a pube clinging to the shower wall.
I stand there in the running water wondering how in the hell a pubic hair got stuck to my bathroom wall at eye level. Especially since I live alone.
Then I cup my hands together, fill 'em with water and begin the process splashing on the rogue follicle til it reaches the bottom & goes down the drain.
Then I proceed with the shower
though never truly feeling clean.

Hair.....always...

I prefer baths but I rarely have time to indulge

essential parts w/ soap first (pits, cracks, feet, ears), skin w/ body wash...

I wash my hair with shampoo, then i do conditioner, leave that in while im washing my other bitz then i rinse off my body then rinse out the conditioner, do another shampoo and then im all done!! Then for my moisturising process- i have a summer regime atm. I do a holiday skin by johnsons and johnsons lather up! THen i run to my room with my towel, do another lather up with one of my fav body lotions, spray myself with perfume, put some linseed serum in my hair, comb it out a bit, get into my pjs or robe n style my hair!
