there is no way of faking it. Please be careful, take classes! Skiing is unlike ant other sport you can imagine, again, be careful!

Where are you going?

hey Aksel, fcuz i'm gonna be carefull. i'm going to either take
some lessons in the kids class or i'm just gonna sit at the bar
drinking till the snow turns checkered green/orange lol.

either way, i'd like to try skiing but i'm not going to do any
kind of thing that's irresponsible.

wait. you've only met me once or twice have you? yeah, so there
is a chance you might actually believe that

if you have never skied before, snowboarding might be a better option.....it's much easier, you learn it quite fast!

IMHO it depends on your background....if you have skateboarded, surfed etc then snowboarding will be quicker to learn...if however you are starting from scratch then i would say ski, plus if you do that you wont get those stuck up skiers looking down at you....instead you can be one wink

this makes me think i should take some skiing lessons

nod

i'm not that good with skateboards at all and since i
have to start from scratch anyway why not just take a
few skiing lessons.

falloff

it is true though, snowboarding is a lot easier and quicker to learn than skiing! I know what I'm talking about, I used to be a boarder.....between 1987 - 1995.....long time ago, where were you, Phil??

Skiing is just more challenging!

get your ass on a plane to Munich either on Feb 2 or March 10, I'll come & pick you up and we'll have a showdown in Austria!

You lucky censored.

Go for it! I can't ski but I bet it'll be an amazing experience. One of my mates goes to Austria every year and the pictures... unbelievable. SO gorgeous. cloud9

Plus, you'll get to be 'instructed' batting eyes along the way. Where's the catch? lol
