Just Got My Gas Bill For This Month.... and it's for $88.00! Mind you, it's not like I live in some big ass 2,000 to 3,000 square foot house, I live in a dumpy little apartment that's not even 1,000 square feet! The gas prices this year are ridiculous!!!! I've kept my thermostat down lower, and have been using my space heater to keep warm, but it didn't hardly make a DENT in my gas bill this time around! I'll be glad when spring comes, and I won't need to run my furnace. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

That's a good idea. If I had a fireplace, I'd fire that baby up every night. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

my gas, electric, water, and sewer all comes in one bill. the gas portion of my bill was $99. total was $234. i was expecting a little over $100 for all of it.
i was told that everyone's bill went up about 60%.

Being that the temperatures have been super mild this winter, SOMEONE'S ass has to be taking our money and running. I think a government investigation is in order. They did it for the gasoline prices and they fell, so why not for natural gas?
Funny that you don't see those commercials anymore with the two guys wearing shirts that say "Electricity" and "Propane" and how the propane guy is supposed to be superior.

What may be "easy street" for one may not be true for someone else. $88 is DOUBLE of what I was paying last year, so I'm definitely feeling the pinch. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Ours was $175 for the month of Dec.
Not bad for a 2,600 square foot home. Dec was cold too! We have a gas fireplace which heats up our living room (It was an add on to the house and has no ductwork and gets colder than Pluto in there) I was expecting a higher bill. My mother-in-law got her bill for her duplex house...wait for it... $720 Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

With my salary I would really have a rough time making that big of a payment. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

[Edited 1/17/06 16:21pm] No, unfortunately not. Guess I'll have to make do with my space heater. Gonna turn the furnace down just a tad more, who knows, maybe I'll see a bigger difference on my next gas bill. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

i was told that everyone's bill went up about 60%. That's a lot of money to have to pay out. yeah, and my house is only about 800 square foot. not really big, and it's been real mild here. i hope it doesn't get too cold the rest of the winter. in fact, to give you an idea of how much it went up, i forgot to pay in november () and so i paid nov & dec last month. for TWO MONTHS the bill was $268. now, it's $234 for one month.
