Although it was a forced day off, but a day off none the less! Who else has it off?

i coulda had it off but i volunteered to come in.

never volunteer to work at the office by yourself on a holiday that not everyone recognizes.

Oh good grief charlie brown. I hear ya. Today is a "variable holiday" meaning that it is recognized but we are open. However you can take the day off and no one can say no...but it cost you one PTO (paid time off). Hoever some some odd reason all offices are closed, we not supposed to work AND they are taking a PTO away from everyone so it's a forced PTO. I think it's sorta illegal to do that. I mean make it a holiday...not a forced one, because then all people are gonna do is resent the reason they are off to begin with.

BUT BUT BUT...I control the PTO chart and I think everyone is gonna get a free day from me. cuz I think the rule is stupid.
