I have a pocket knife. It's a very nice brand. It's only about 3 inches blade. The polish on the knife is like shimmering rainbow. It can be opened in less then one second with one hand.

I often carry it around. I got it for christmas. It isn't a Knife thing. Everyone can use a pocket knife at some time.

I have clippers with the little file on there. That's kinda like a knife, albeit a small one, and not a sharp one. More like a file, in fact. shrug

So no, I have no reason to be here other than wanting to post on something.

Actually, a few years ago an aunt gave me a multi-purpose tool thingamajig for Christmas. It was quite out of the blue since I'm not an outdoors type. Well, I go outdoors, but not to cut anything. Anyway, this thing had about 10 tools on it, including knives and a mini saw and a whole bunch of stuff I wouldn't know what you'd use for. It was so difficult to pull the tools out. You'd pull a tricep just trying to get the knife out and then cut yourself horribly in the process. So, there's my story. Dull, but on topic. biggrin

omfg

Give some money to JT for the knife!!!!

If you give a knife to someone as a present, it is said to sever the friendship.

NEVER give knives as presents.

At least buy it from your friend/relative etc for like 50 cents..

Thats what my family and friends do.. nod

My wife said an older person is not supposed to give a younger person a watch in Thailand as it's said to shorten their life.

I'm not superstitious though, so you can frequently find me handing out watches outside shopping centres to people younger than me. biggrin
