Does anybody know if the guy that Jack took in the helicopter was the guy from the movie MYSTERIOUS SKIN?

dead-ISH? Will he come back as one of the undead? I doubt he's coming back, he is part of a new show whose title I can't remember right now. This was the only way to let him go and not have to explain anything. I am totally new to the phenomenon that is 24 , i never followed the previous seasons. Is it too late to catch up, can I borrow some DVDs of the last season?

[Edited 1/17/06 10:56am] I would have to say a resounding NO. You do not have to watch the previous seasons to watch the currnet one. The plot normally does not carry over seasons. Small things like relationship stuff i.e. Audrey & Jack have a past. Jack used to have a wife. Etc. But they are more of character development than anything.
