Apparently, the grandmother described the mother of Nixzmary as "abused" -- what utter bullshit. At least the poor little girl is in a much better place. I would love to give the mother and stepfather a good beating and have them experience 10 times the pain that poor girl felt. Those assholes --I hope they rot in hell.

This story mad me so SAD! I CRIED while reading it! HOW CAN ANYBODY DO THIS TO A CHILD? They SHOULD be EXECUTED as CRIMINALS and SAVAGES. I hate when something as tragic as this gets condensed into some trite explanation or reason for its occurance...Saying that "Apparently what prompted this fatal beating was that the stepdad became enraged that she ate a yogurt from the fridge which he had bought for one of the other kids" is insulting. Yogurt didn't have a got-damn thing to do with what happened to this poor little soul...what a superficial take on a significant event.

Why don't parents protect their children?

APPARENTLY...what set him off this time...what sparked this latest rage...was that she took that damned yogurt.
Bear in mind also; she was malnourished. She weighed less than my 4 year old. The "mother" (and I use the term loosely) stated recently that she would get in trouble for drinking the baby brother's formula. THAT'S 'CAUSE SHE WAS STARVING!!!!
I'll post the update if I can find it...

they have a picture of her in her coffin on the front page....so sad.

It's such a nightmare that it doesn't seem real. At least she's no longer suffering and that is some consolation.
