I don't drink coffee, as strange as that sounds. I will once in a great while as an after dinner drink (with Amaretto or something added in) during a holiday, but that's about it. Psychodelicide's alternative account because I ran out of posts again!

First, I search for the coffee filters...
Then, I search for the coffee... After that, I curse at myself for not putting the coffee with the coffee filters... Then, I go to grab a spoon... Then, I go to wash a spoon from the sink... Then, I curse myself for not doing the dishes the night before... Afterwards, I scoop in four tablespoons of coffee grounds... Then, I spill half of the coffee grounds inside the coffee maker... Then, I take the filter holder off the coffee maker and wash out the spilled grounds... Then, I fill my coffee pot with water... Then I empty out the water after realizing that some of the spilled grounds ended up in the coffee pot... Then I refill the coffee pot with water and empty the water in the coffee maker... Then I turn on the coffee maker... Then I plug in the coffee maker... Then I curse myself for trying to make coffee without plugging in the coffee maker first... Then I sit down to read my emails while the coffee drips into the coffee maker... Then I get an email from the company back east I do work for telling me they need something done asap... Then, about three hours later, I remember that I made coffee earlier... Then I empty out the coffee pot cuz the coffee's too old and taste bitter.. Repeat step one...

I bought one of those brushed metal Cuisinart coffee makers, and the matching grinder to go with it. Makes GREAT coffee. I usually drink it with 1% milk and real sugar, or whiskey and sugar.
I used to have one of those Mr. Coffee machines that they sell everywhere...
...but it made horrible tasting coffee. I think perhaps because the charcol filter gets placed right above the coffee beans, I dunno. Not to mention it leaked like crazy all over the hot plate. Too many parts to clean up on it too when you're done.
