I used to have it. I threw it out though. It irritated me because it would burn the shit out the outside of my chicken breast and it would be pink in the middle!!! Not good! [Edited 1/11/06 10:03am]

[Edited 1/11/06 10:03am] Yeah, thats exactly why I never got one. I figured it doesnt cook anything all the way. It looks so flimsy, like a toy They have an updated model, maybe it works better "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I have one, it's very convenient for making a quick meal that's nice and hot. All that is asked is that the meat be no thicker than a half inch so it can cook fully, at least that's what I do. Jeux Sans Frontiers

my mum loves it
personally i see all those juices dripping into the tray and i want to cry thats the flavour its gotta cook in that juice its handy, maybe healthier but it produces tastless food id rather use my flat electric grill [Edited 1/11/06 11:52am] You saw the apple

I love mine, for juicier meat I leave mine a bit frozen poking it so I know it gets cooked in the middle. I do EVERYthing on the grill, the best are boneless chicken and fish, veggies and sausages. I stand over mine, I don't walk away and do other stuff, because once it starts to overcook that's when the stuff dries out. I find that if I marinade stuff before I grill the flavor stays in there when all the fat runs out We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. I have a Ronson, which is similar. It takes up a lot of space, but if you have it stored out of sight you never end up using it.

I have one. It's for my veggie stuff only

I had one - they're really convenient.
As SammiJ says, though, you need to clean them after every use. Otherwise, they get a bit icky. A former housemate of mine thought they clean themselves. It's now on a garbage tip somewhere.
