placing yourself in history

Reading the thread about 'types', I started thinking about a game I used to play with my best friends. We tried to place someone in history, not based on personality, but on pure looks.

One guy really looked like a medieval stable-boy, the other was a knight, a viking, a German officer. Girls would look really 'fin-the-siècle', Marilyn Monroe-ish etc.

When I asked my friends where I 'belonged', they always used to say: 'you're a girl in some typical American highschool, the one you see in films 80's-films, talking to friends while shutting her locker, wearing a short skirt.' neutral

Very unromantic. I prefer to see myself as the best friend of Virginia Woolf, hanging out with some dandyesk figures, but I guess I don't have this in me. confused

What about you? Or other orgers?

lol I can't say they're completely off the mark though. You could be a snotty cheerleader who bullied the girls who weren't as pretty. smile

confused The funny this is I wore glasses until I was sixteen and my hair was short. I only wore Nirvana-shirts that would hide my body as much as possible. The guys only liked me because I would climb in the trees with them and go skating. When I was sixteen I underwent a metamorphose. The first time people told me I was pretty I was really confused.

But, back on topic. I'd love to be really rococo one day. These costumes-films are most of the time very boring but the clothes make me mushy I can't find a good picture, it must be something like this.

I would need to enlarge my breasts though, so they could be pressed together looking until they look like one. lol
