My mom is getting on my fuckin' nerves She's really pushing me to the limit. I'm ready to move out just to keep my sanity. I've never seen such a negative person, who really doesn't have it that bad to the next person, complain so damn much. I give her money each month just because I live in her house, and she still isn't satisfied. When I say that its time for me to move out, she doesn't believe that i'll make it on my own, she says "it's too dangerous to move out and you don't need to be moving out until you get married anyway", what a crock of shit. I know plenty of people my age (23) who don't give their parents shit and they do everything up in their parent's houses, oh but not me. And i still get shit....i told her "what do you want me to do, give you my whole entire check?" know what she said "yes", and i said "well you ain't getting it".....
she never has to hunt me down for money i give her each month, i always give it willingly...she's driving me fuckin' crazy i graduate from college, i find a good paying job, i'm even learning programs that i quite don't know just so that i can start applying for more jobs paying even more money, but no, she doesn't see that...all she see's is her fuckin' bills going sky high, and someone to take it out on. i'm so tired of this shit!!!!! I'm sorry but I had to vent it out.... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

i moved 3 miles from my mom--close enough to get to her in an emergency, but just far enough away to keep my sanity. she called me today hysterical that there was a huge leak in her living room ceiling from the bathroom upstairs. i rush right over to see two drips of water on the floor. i ask her why she said it was flooding and she says " well i was just repeating what my nieces said (ages 9 and 10).
so i took a deep breath, tightened a washer screw, changed the hallway light bulb and took the trash out--and then came home. the moral is--they put up with our dumb shit when we kids, so it's only fair i return the favor you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

I'm sorry but I had to vent it out.... Oh I know EXACTLY how you feel. As a matter of fact, things were alright between me and my mom before I came out. Then I started getting lectures at 3 in the morning and shit. One night I was talking to a guy online, it wasn't cybersex or anything, and she was standing behind me the whole time. Then she started yelling at me. So I got up, got some trash bags, called my friend, packed my shit up and I was out THAT night. Not even an hour after she started yelling at me. And the whole time she was crying and shit telling me I can't make it on my own and I won't have anywhere to go and it's not fair for me to leave her and all that bullshit. Like she expected me to stay in the fucking house with her ass. Bitch, please. One of Dansa's org hornies

did you live with someone, or did you just have money like that to move and live on your own??? I found a girl in the local newspaper who was from the next town, and she had an apartment and needed a flatmate. I was studying and was eligible for government assistance (AUSTUDY), which barely covered the rent and food. Some days all I had was a handful of change until the next payment came. It was hard, had to get a job at the supermarket Friday nights and all day Sundays so I could eat too. When I finished I got myself on unemployment benefits and rent assistance for about a month until I got a real job.

your relationship with your mother is going through some change, and that's always a challenge. but keep in mind that there's not a more important relationship EVER. at a time when i'm watching my mother go through massive, permanent changes (dementia, probably Alzheimer's), i look back at times in the past when i could have been more patient and more compassionate. live in the now - you'll never get those moments back.

My mom is pretty bad, she says many hurtful things and likes to embarrass me in front of family members and frieds I know she likes it. That's why I spend most of my time in a different room. I don't like her that much. Can't wait to move out. I don't think she loves me that much. i think she would rather have another child. [Edited 1/10/06 13:13pm]
