Any DR WHO fans out there?

Tell me about it:

Were you a fan when you were little? Are you still a fan now?

What do you think of the new series with Billie Piper?

Who are your fave enemies?

Who is your favourite Dr Who?

The Dr I relate Dr Who to is still Tom Baker:

Any feedback would be very much appreciated

many thanks
smile

Fauxie

I used to watch it, in the late 80s and early 90s I believe. I haven't seen the new incarnation. Is it any good?

I think your favourite Dr Who kind of depends on your age. So for me growing up it was Sylvester McCoy although I can see that Tom Baker surely was the best. The sets, stories and costumes are ridiculous but back then I used to find it really creepy. I remember one episode called 'The Greatest Show In The Galaxy' where the Dr and Ace (the lovey Sophie Aldred-well I thought so then! he he!) come across a mysterious circus where none of the showcases can ever leave. It was a really scary episode. There was also another episode I recall where Berty Bassett came alive which I thought was a bit daft. I haven't seen much of the new one but I thought Christopher Eccleston was an inspired choice as the new Dr. Shame he hasn't stayed of for a second series.

Tom Baker was my favourite Doctor Who, he gave the character a kind of gravitas. The Daleks were very scary when I was little. I like the new shows and think Billie Piper is surprisingly good.

The old episodes had a amateur production quality to them which added to the appeal.

I had this idea of shoes based on the Tardis with a flashing blue light on them.

Tom Baker and Peter Davidson are my two favorite Doctors.
I think The Master is the best villian.

Anyone see the Five Doctors episode?
