Is everybody on the Org rich or are people with old cars just too intimidated by the money-guzzling monsters on display to post their own cars?
I bought my first car about two years ago. It was a Pontiac 6000 LE from 1989 and then when it broke down on my gold-digging trip to the Yukon I upgraded to a 1994 Ford Tempo. It runs great, but I'm currently trying to sell it since I am no longer in Vancouver. Any buyers out there by any chance? This is the car:

I feel you. I have a '96 Ford Explorer. It's been good for me but now I would like to get into a car made in the millennium. Something without duct tape, and that has no lights flashing onthe dash, like 'check engine.' ---------------------------------
Funny and charming as usual

Ex-Moderator | I walked or took the bus for about 5 years. I kind of miss it, actually.
My current car was purchased from a friend about 2 years ago. It's a '94 Ford Escort. It's blue. And it's starting to get kind of loud. |

I drive a 1999 Chevy Cavalier Z-24 coupe. Great gas mileage!!!! She is triple black and named CAMILLE!!!!! It is my first General Motors car and I love it!!! I have had ALL Dodges and Crystler products before and they suck big time. If something happens to my car I will get a MAZDA 3 next. I love the shape and style of it!!

God, I can't finish reading this thread. You must be very rich, nearly all of you.
I still don't have my driving-licence. I need to overcome my fear caused by sad events, related to cars. I really don't like cars. I drive a yellow bike, made out of three different bikes by a friend for my twentieth birthday. My ass hurts everytime I use the old bastard, but overall, it has been serving me quite well the last four years.

if you can live without a car, your the smartest and most gifted of us all. Doesn't matter what the ride, cars are all one big scam. It's no way a car is an investment unless you ain't driving it. And, at that, what's the point? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I just bought my first brand-new car in September. It's an '06 Mazda 3, and I absolutely LOVE it! Her name is Snowcake, and she's white with tan leather interior.

the woman i work with has one of those. she loves it. says it drives like a car, and it has completely spoiled her family against getting anything else!! Really??? My friend has an Envoy, I like being a passenger in it but I HATE driving it. It's too big and man is it a gas guzzler. I bought a 99 Honda Civic used and I love it. Even with gas being so expensive 20 bucks a week gets me to where I have to go. It used to be 12 but now it's gone up a little. The insurance is cheap and after 5 years of owning it I only needed brake pads, a muffler and a tune up. I really like the Pontiac G6 but I'm scared to ever buy an American car again. They break down too much.

(duct tape, etc. ) she sold it to someone, and years later i would still see it driving around town. i think it finally died, i haven't seen it for a while.

Yep, Toyotas and Hondas are hard to kill...they will rust out before the engine dies. Mine is a little spiffed up and is still in great shape minus a few scratches here and there. But it really has been a great car to me. My last payment is next month! It used to be important to me to drive a nice car, but after excise tax bills, gas and insurance...I could care less. I will run this car to the ground, I hope to keep it another 4-5 years if I can.
