Grilled ham & cheese, or grilled turkey and cheese, or grilled cheese with fried onions....
I like my cheese. | |

A Reuben sandwich, which is corned beef on toasted bread, with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. Not sure if kids would like it, with the sauerkraut on it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I like what "the King liked". No, not the PB and banana sandwich. His other favorite sandwich consisted of the following: 1) A whole jar of peanut butter, 2) A whole jar of jelly; 3) A whole loaf of bread. From what I read somewhere, he could make a whole sandwich using the ingredients I just listed. To me that is damn impressive.

On a nice granary loaf I have the following. A layer of creme freche with a squeeze of lemon juice flavoured with salt and pepper. On top that a slice of fresh salmon. Repeat the process twice over and you have yourself a delicious sandwich. To give it a bit more bite, grate the lemon on top of the creme fresh.
