I forgot how stunning this film was, and disney's last real effort at making animation an art form.


"the hunchback of notre dame" may have a few dodgy songs (though only one real stinker) and some annoying sidekicks (very annoying), but even songs like "god bless the outcasts" are good enough for me, good score too.


As a big fan of animation, this movie blows me away. Now all u get is lame as fuck CGI family films, recycling safe jokes ALL THE TIME. Thanx pixar

"hunchback of notre dame" is kinda lost these days. If it lost the sidekicks, it would of been supurb to watch and look at. Its a real work of art to watch.

Now disney dont even do 2d animation anymore. Incredible, animation in the west now has no actual artistic value and is all about $. Disney have hit a all time new low in their looong history. Cashcow sequels (including one of the hunchback- which was awful of course) are what disney do now.



Infact, disneys "treasure planet" looked damn good, but that was such a bomb even i forgot about it

finding nemo was terrible, and i can bet a sharks tale was too. Dreamworks have copied pixar twice now on the stories

antz= a bugs life (though antz came out first, which was crafty)

And dreamworks approach of "lets get every single celeb to do voices" does not work. It works sometimes, like most of shreks characters are well voiced for example (though cameron diaz could be anybody).....shrek 2 was saved by antonio as puss n boots. A lucky save from a movie without much going on.

the disney people are a bunch of perverts. The phallic symbols on the Little Mermaid video box, the flower petal "SEX" scene from the Lion King, the nude woman in the window on the Rescuers....what's the theme of this movie? Bestiality?

That was a HUGE deal here in York. Over in Red Lion this 4 year old boy spotted it out. It's the part where grown Simba sees Mufasa in the sky, then he drops down in that bed of flowers, and when all the petals fly up in the air if you pause it, the petals form the word "SEX".

Haha. That is pretty funny. I think the rescuers one (the one with the 2 mice) was actually put in by home video editors for its first vhs release. It got taken off the shelves immediately when it was found out. Naughty editors.

Anyway, thanx sammij, seems ur the only one who has seen it. Which is a shame really.
