Isn't it werid how Minneapolis has changed? For the orgers who have lived in Minneapolis a while, isn't it bizarre how the city has transformed? I mean when I was growing up I remember it looked kinda run down. Nicollet Mall always looked nice but Hennipen was kinda scary! I remember all the old buildings. I can't belive how much it has cleaned up since then. We have all new kinds of resturants and nightclubs. The Whitney hotel was where I remeber stars stayed when they were in town now it is Le Meridian. Oh and I miss where the Minneapolis public library used to be.
I'm not saying it used to be worse I guess just different. It used to be more gritty.  What do you think of it then as opposed to now? | |
