using vaseline as hair grease when the dixie peach or the beaugamont ran out

holding your ear down while your hair is getting pressed in the kitchen and gettin your finger burned

getting your ass beat for getting you hair wet the day before easter falloff

puttin vaseline on your legs, skipping your socks and going over your patent leather shoes with the vaseline on your hands.

MichaelsLight	Every Sunday we had to stop off at the corner store to get the big peppermint balls right b4 church, and my mom would break them in her mouth and give all of us a piece. You were lucky if you got a big piece with minimum saliva... those were good times
