are you an auto or a stick person???

It has to be an automatic with power steering and power brakes for me only

I hate automatics, on small cars I don't like power steering


unfortunately of the four cars I own only one my wifes escort is standard

I prefer manual.....even in my one ton Dodge pick up.

I even taught my wife how to work the stick.

oh oh! i know how to work a stick! err, i mean, i know how to drive a car with manual tranny. my car is automatic, but when i drive a stick i must admit, it's kind of thrilling!

Most people in Britain learn to drive a stickshift (manual) car.

In the summer, or on "fun" journeys I tend to drive my manual but if I'm going on a long trip I do prefer the automatic. It all depends on my mood really.

but I've never driven one of them old cars with the gear stick next to the steering wheel.

My wife and I both know how to drive a stickshift. Her first car was a stick,
a fuego and I had a Dodge Dakota Sport truck which was a stick.

I don't think I'll buy another one though. I think they can be fun to drive,
but more hassle when you are eating on the run or stuck in traffic.

when i first learned how to drive it was a car with a stick shift.... i always been good with my hands but i will never buy a car again with one... i know U get better gas milage but damn if U live n a high traffic area and commute n traffic its a killer on the knees.....

My first car was red Mazda RX-7..... :I loved it....4 speed manual..... oh man *daydreamingofalifelonglost* I had that car over 120 mph one time...scary but an awesome ride

I used to drive a yellow one of these, manual. If it had been auto it would not have kept going as long as it did, neglected as it was, rusty and caved in roof.

AND
a VW stick, where the reverse is to the left of first.

I don't even know how to drive a manual car

I've never really had any need to, to be honest, but my mates probably wish I had lessons. They're like my chauffeurs.

When I was 18, my mother offered me a choice of two presents for my birthday: money or driving lessons. Being a greedy brat, I took the money and blew it all. 13 years later, I still can't drive. I definitely need to learn soon.
