There's a baby lizard in my apartment!!

it looks like the one below. i opened the door to my apartment the other day and it jumped in. it must have been waiting for me. i tried to catch it but it just scurried away. it popped up the other day but i couldn't get again. i hope it doesn't die and shrivel up. hopefully there are bugs in my house it can eat.

it's kinda cute too!

they're really only aggressive when they're hungry - got any small children in the house?

Sometimes I let my baby iguana lose in my apartment. Sometimes I'll loose him in there for like half a day. Hope you find the lizard before it croaks!

Being in New Mexico, it happens a lot here. What I do to catch them is to overturn a bucket or Tupperware container on them. Then, slide a piece of construction paper under the bucket (and lizard). It serves as an artificial "floor" to the container and you can scoot it out the door that way.

Good luck!

I love them. I just pick them up and put them outside. I had two as pets in jr high so they don't scare me.

I've got quite a few of those, as well as anoles, living around my yard. I had a little baby gecko get on my leg the other day while I was walking through the house. I love the little guys! They're cute AND they eat nasty bugs like mosquitos!
