a lot of folks say they just bring danger not sure i believe that....

It's better than Skype and other VoIP services

Also, why buy one when you can just print this out for the cost of some ink and a piece of paper?

When I was like 14 years old, I had a Ouija session with my cousin and we had a pretty amicable spirit.

But I guess that's a rare thing because most spirits trapped on earth haven't resolved some issues and those are the ones you end up giving your hands over to.

My ex and his mates did it once and they all swear they saw the shadow of a nun on the wall. She mentioned specific places around Ealing and told them how she died. They're all very rational, cynical men but they won't ever do it again.

One of their friends was in a group of people in the 70's who did it and the glass went crazy. One of the girls who was with them went a little crazy herself and they all say it was because of what happened. Not one of them will talk about it now so I don't know the full story, or what was spelled out.

My parents and another couple also played with the Ouija. My father and his mate treated it as a laugh and were taking the piss really. Again, it got serious for them when my dad's friend started being flirtatious with the spirit. He asked a question like "can I see you?" and the glass said "yes". He asked "how?" and the glass spelled out "die". I think it freaked them all out and my mum says they didn't use the board again.

I agree with Mach - if you're going to try it you really need to treat it with respect and have good intentions. However, I would never try it again and I wouldn't recommend it as a "game". It can seriously mess with your mind if you're vulnerable.

I also believe that you have no control over the "spirits" or "energies" which come through with the Ouija. You can end up with displaced spirits who will give misleading messages because they haven't reached the light yet.

Personally I would advise that you read up on spiritual protection before you attempt something like a Ouija.

I have read books that say that the spirits who are in limbo, do not realize that they have died, and therefore are still stuck on the "earth plain". It has nothing to do with unresolved issues. I have read that you can tell the spirit to go towards the light, go in peace.

incidentally... ever see a movie called "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams? one of my fave ever movies and it happens to echo pretty much exactly what I feel happens in the afterlife
