Most of the beautiful people I know are extremely shallow and no, I'm not joking.

Subconsciously or not, everybody assumes things about others based on their appearance. It would be hypocritical to claim otherwise. When it comes to very beautiful people, I usually assume one or more of the following things:

* they're arrogant (since people treat them like they're all that so often that they start believing it)

* they have a slightly underdeveloped personality (since they don't have to learn social skills to the same extent as others in order to survive)

* they don't understand real hardship in life (since their beauty usually helps them avoid it)

* they are vain (since they've realized how much they depend on their beauty and how important it therefore is to maintain it)

I'm happy and ready to be proven wrong once I get to know them though.

I think beautiful people tend to have it easy but I don't necessarily assume they're shallow. I think I tend to judge people more on "warmth" than beauty. If someone is friendly towards me and shows a degree of warmth and compassion I'm more likely to respond to them than if they look good.

I'm never attracted to "beautiful" men. I don't particuarly think they're shallow but I just don't go for looks above personaliy.
