Celebrating 25 years on television, E.T. is stretching to new lows in TV journalism. I am sick of it... and the show sucks anymore. In fact, it has probably been sucking for the majority of its 25 years, but we've been too content to notice.

If Maria puts on a "fat" suit to see that people treat her like a freak, do we need to see the results spread-out (no pun intended) over 6-7 episodes?

Why are stars without their make-up such hot news? (Yes, stars wear make-up!) Let's see Mary Hart without hers...

Steven Cujo... so what. He's had a kidney transplant or two or three. Anymore, E.T. is generating their own news from milking this for everything it's worth. (And you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip!) Rob Steines takes a piss... Should we have a newstory on it?!?!

Has-been celebs who are now fat. Yes, that's Edward R. Murrow material! So quit with profiling the has-beens on "Celebrity Fit Club" unless you really are doing a commercial for the show/network.

All the previews of what's coming up on the show actually make-up the show! If you were to take and actually piece together the true bits of news the actual times they are discussed, you would have about 5 minutes of material.

The worth of E.T. news is like that of tabloid rags anymore. It's trivial and garbage, I tell you! After 25 years of making celebs pissed off, I guess they can create whatever they want and call it news...

E.T. has become more and more of an informercial for the network it is on.
