MUNICH blows many other current films out of the water as far as hyper vivid travelogue tension action drama euro 70's sensory overload! This is a repeat viewing kind of Movie.

I disagree. It was just a'ight. It was way too long, and it was really not necessary to be as long as it was. And the part where he was making love to his wife as they were cutting back to the scenes at the airport? It was just ridiculous. It wasn't a bad movie at all, but I just think Steven Speilberg got a little carried away with himself. It could have been about an hour shorter! | |

I disagree, every scene flowed together in a dreamlike logic of transitory detail, every single scene completely engrossed me, every single second. I wanted to see these characters even just stand there. And the use of sound and set details was so rich, I felt completely displaced and transported. The scene you mention at the end was then only part where it felt a bit wrong and only the climax of that scene (literally!). I've saw Syriana as well , and it was just a movie. Munich felt like an experience. I liked this so much more than Saving Private Ryan which I could never get into.
