it's crazy out there.. yesterday I was in Oxford street for a while and it was horrible. i wasnt shopping, just went with a friend to keep them company. Sooo many people shopping as if there lives depended on it. who else hates the period just after christmas when the streets are jam packed with shoppers from hell? | |

Some of my friends came back home later than me from a piss up last night and they said there were teams of folks queuing outside Next for the 5a.m. Sales..... 3.15 A.M.!!!

When are people gonna get it into their thick heads that theres no such thing as a sale!!!!!????? 
Stores bring down their prices for the sales 2 the price an item is supposed 2 b anyway!!!!! So if they advertize, for example, a 60% Off Sale, they have jacked up prices 60% during normal times, so that during Sales time like this they then bring the normal time price down 60% 2 the price it is supposed 2 b!!!!! And it doesnt only happen here either, it happens worldwide!!!

even my neighborhood was weird when i got home to chicago from the holiday weekend...i couldn't even get out of the damn cab without some dope fiend opening the door for me and starting in with "can you give me a dollar? maybe two dollars?" and then when i stopped in the store to get some soda, this little hasidic kid blocked the door on my way out and was all, "ARE YOU JEWISH??? DON'T YOU KNOW IF YOU'RE JEWISH???"

I love shopping but only when I know exactly what I want. Trawling round the shops in the sales
