So if you got a $900 bonus in your account was it really $1,500? They typically tax bonuses at the top rate of around 40 percent. I sure hope they taxed it already otherwise you might have a nasty little tax day surprise.

But yeah...sounds great. If I walked into unexpected money I would probably save most of it but I guess that makes me either boring or practical.

That's great Stymie!
When I saw your thread it reminded me of a friend of mine who found close to
$9,000 in an organizer in the street, he thought it was a bible cover, and returned every dollar via the local police. He never hesitated in giving it back it was automatic. Don't know if I have that kind of integrity, like to think I do but shrug that's a lot of cash. He got a recognized by the police dept, but not even a thank you card from the owners hmph!
