It's only as creepy as your own mind makes it...
If energies or whatever that linger around us, as for example on cemetaries, were able to harm us in any way they would have destroyed us a long time ago... Or they're sadists (which I could understand since there's nothing funnier than watching humans squirm their way through their pathetic life...)

So many people died there under such terrible circumstances, plus it was one of the crossing points for the underground railroad where the runaway slaves crossed into Canada. Possibly much restless energy?

if this is the case, and that is very believeable nod then where we live would be along those lines as well ... here are a few of the sites i was reading last night....

I can feel energy sometimes. I'm trying to learn to be more receptive to it.

I don't often discuss this with people, as those who don't understand tend to think you're off with the fairies, but I've decided to attempt to do so here, although in my "real" life, I wouldn't share this unless I felt someone had a genuine interest:

I studied Shiatsu a few years ago. Chinese medicine has an important concept called "chi" or "qi" ("ki") in Japan. Very briefly, it's the concept that "energy" plays an important role in our health. So, there is the physical and there is also a universal energy (actually there are other types of "energy" but the basic concept is that us and everything around us is not only physical matter). The concept includes the principles upon which acupuncture and acupressure is based, that there are energy centres within our bodies which run along lines called meridians. Acupuncture is now recognised by western medicine as being effective for a wide range of medical problems. It is all based on the principle of working "energy" in conjunction with the human body.

When I first started studying, I couldn't feel the energy at all. We practiced something called Qi Gong (chi gung), which is similar to tai chi. It took a while, but eventually I could feel energy moving between my fingertips and hands.

Since then I've been learning more and go to workshops and healing centres to try to feel and see energy more frequently.

Which brings me to where I am today. I know I can feel energy but it's always energy that surrounds my body or someone elses. It's not a huge jump for me to think of orbs as some sort of energetic matter and seeing the lights in my bedroom a few months ago, although it scared me at the time, was a natural progression I think.

I also don't think it's too far fetched to think of angels appearing as energy, or spirits. I believe that the universe wasn't created by a series of random events, that there is structure and purpose to it.

But as far as knowing exactly what type of energy orbs are (if they are indeed energy at all), I really haven't a clue.

hug thats very interesting ..... i enjoyed reading that.

i totally believe that there is more around us, its up to us whether we believe or not, but IMO its kinda silly to think that we are the only ones here. i totally believe in this type stuff nod

There might be a connection, but I doubt it. I think this energy is everywhere and some people are more open to it for some reason. But some places seem to have more of this energy than others.

My attitude towards these kind of stories has changed a lot during the last few years. In the past only those things that could be 'tested' scientifically were real to me.

This has changed now, because I've had some experiences that can not be explained, you can only feel and accept them.

Next to that, my believe and trust in the Western capitalist system (including politics but also the way we look at things) has dwindled.

How can we be sure our objectiveness is really objective? It's just as biased as anything else.

Saw 'The art of Ayurveda' some time ago. Very interesting.

It's an odd thing but the police dogs at Fort Niagara will go into the French Castle but they will not go into the chapel which was once used as a hospital. They stay outside the door and bark like crazy.I believe about 600 people died just in that building over the years. There's no telling how many thousands died on the area around the fort.

falloff @ luv4u and you all.

It IS dust. I can go through the long geek explanation if I must.

However, the REALITY of it being dust doesn't have to discount the supernatural effect.

How many ways must I tell you this?

Your house isn't dusty as fuck. It isn't at all not normal.
