For nausea:

- Ginger (eat or drink anything with ginger in it)
- There is an acupressure point which is two fingertip widths above your inside wrist crease, between the two main tendons. Press downwards with one fingertip to activate it.

...what ALWAYS makes you feel better?

For me it's;

Clean sheets on the bed,

A nice hot MUG of tea,

Cuddling with all my pets,

Talking to my love.

How about you?

A good cry (if I need to, but not always).
Spending time with my kitties (because they always give me unconditional love, no matter what).
A funny show to watch on TV (like Good Times, Cheers, Sanford and Son, etc. etc.).
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Alka Seltzer Plus Cold, that stuff is awesome and it works really fast.

I can deal with the runny noses, the coughing, etc... The only thing that drives me nuts about getting sick is the fatigue. So anything that will give me a buzz usually cheers me up - like an insanely strong pot of coffee.

Well, it goes without saying that all I need to do is talk with my love.
But, if I can't do that, then (depending on the level of sadness) I'll put on some depressing music until I can't get anymore down and have nowhere else to go but up.
Playing with my boys (my 2 cats) is always a nice distraction.
And, sometimes, just some quiet alone-time works wonders.
