There's a trailer for the film version of Augusten Burrough's memoir on Sony's Web site. I have to admit, I was more interested in this film when Julianne Moore was set to star in it, but the TV trailer looks promising. I'm not completely sold on Annette Bening in the lead, but who knows? The film doesn't come out until fall 2006, but it's already got a promo and a rating? Odd.

I hope it does some sort of justice to the book. We know how that can be Although I thought Mystic River did a good job going into a screenplay, so, I am optimistic until further notice!

i had julianne moore pictured as the mother before i even knew she was set to star in it...shame it didn't end up that way. i guess annette bening is a good second choice. she can do neurotic.
