did anyone see "Jerry Springer: The Opera"?

listening to the cd, which is hilarious, and found out that it was shown on the BBC to great controversy, and am curious to hear from people that saw it.

mostly a british orger thread, i suppose.

it's supposed to be coming to broadway this year here in new york.

eh... he he

well, there is a LOT of swearing in it, which is part of what makes it so damn funny. hearing the trailer trash dialect replete with all the swearing operized is freaking hilarious.

the other is it is a bit blasphemous in the second act, which involves biblicla characters fighting it out on the show. a lot of religious people were very offended
