I'm not near the fires. I'm near the border between Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros , Ta Mexico. I live in Harlingen about 30 minutes from South Padre Island. I've been here since early 2004.

I would like to have dinner with some old friends from high school. There are some celebrities I would like to meet, but reuniting with old friends would be more appreciated.

I don't have a strong opinion either way about Bush. I would think his daughters have a greater chance posing in Playboy than being Governor of Texas
