I'm a pretty liberal dude, but I HATE these things!!! The sad things is: Look at the detail on those dolls -- the design and craftsmanship is fantastic! But they are way too mature for kids! I'd consider that they're meant for older teens and adults to collect, but they're actively marketed -- including with a cartoon and DVD series -- for "ages 4 and up." WAY too young, IMO.

People bought my 4-year-old tons of these damn things this Christmas. I'm considering striking a deal with her to get rid of them and replace them with something more appropriate. And in the future, I'm going to flat out forbid people to buy them for her.

What REALLY gets me is even the Bratz Babyz are oversexualized with low-rise panties, belly shirts, eye makeup, lipstick and a friggin' beauty mark!...

they're kinda cute I used to be obsessed with Babysitter's Club Dolls. I had three of them, but they weren't your average dolls. They weren't really made to be played with like other dolls (I played with them anyway) and they were way taller than average dolls. They were like 20 in. tall, I think. I loved everything about the Babysitter's Club.....the books, movie,the t.v show. The dolls's popularity didn't last as long as I would've have liked it to.

I think Americans are a little prudish sometimes. (yes, gross generalisation)
