ok, so, friday was a pretty good day, up until about noon.... i found out that my son's father, the one who was all about telling me how much he loved me and the kids and how much he wanted to be a "family" had another baby

so, that makes baby 5 for him....

now this woman that he was with "briefly" whatever that means, he has decided that NOW is the time (at age 42 mind you) to be the father he should have been to his other kids

he gets the baby 3 days outta the week, hes sure that this is gonna make him the perfect dad...


my advice to him was to marry the girl - he didnt like that advice






then, the school calls....

my baby boy hurt his thumb in first recess, they had it on ice all day and decided at the END of the day, im taking 3:30, to call me and let me know of course by then the doctors office is closing, and they are booked solid on saturday.... they told me to wrap it in a splint, and see how it was on saturday morning, take him to the hospital if it still looks bad..... it still looked bad.... i took him.... and its broke



so, while we were at the hospital, i asked a doc about a lil thing thats been buggin me, and found out that i will have to have a small operation, no biggie, but i was hoping that wouldnt happen.....

my weekend was okay until today...

for some reason I fell down my stairs (on my bum, nothing really injured except my pride as my bf, roomie and his new bf all saw it)...then I burned the F outta our breakfast and had to throw it all away...I think I may just go back to bed now...

sometimes i find myself singing once in a lifetime by the talking heads because i have no idea how i got to where i am and how to do this task i'm assigned to, etc, etc.

so i know how you feel.

Sorry to hear about your son. Best thing you can do for that, (besides getting him the medical attention he needed, which you've done), is document what happened. The school needs to improve their response. It's a difficult situation as your son's thumb may very well have NOT been broken, but they should have informed you when it happened, not at the end of the day, and let you decide whether or not you wanted to seek medical treatment.

As for that triflin' man, girl you dodged a bullet on that one to be sure. People certainly can change. Even if they've tried and failed they can still change, but being emotionally vested in them while they are on their roller coaster ride can be so draining.

I took apart two of my computers, swapped some parts around so I had the best parts for my NEW case, put everything back together, reformatted the hard drives, and reinstalled all the software except for a few more programs on my main system which I'll do after work tonight. When I'm finished, I'll have the family computer, my computer, and a game server.

Yeah, then I had to work yesterday and am here at work again today. I'd be done with my computers already if it wasn't for work.
