sleek and shiny and long! HEY I USE THAT TOO!! Well for the next few weeks that is. I use a different shampoo everytime I finish. Its not always a good thing to use the same shampoo for long periods of times. I use that ...um...3 I guess. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

oooh, when i used to still relax my hair i used motions as the relaxer...that stuff was good, it left my hair silky smoove and it stayed in longer than most other relaxers. motions is the shit!
as for my hair care now--i have a mini-fro (well, it ain't quite as "mini" as it first was when i first got it cut...it's grown out quite a bit), so it's easier to care for than when i had relaxed hair. i shampoo & condition it at least twice a month with this stuff from the body shop: manuka anti-dandruff shampoo (works pretty well, but my hair kinna smells like vicks vapo-rub afterwards) honey moisturizing conditioner (leaves my hair nice n'soft afterwards, but it irritates my scalp somewhat so i'm changing conditioners) ...i've yet to find hair grease that ain't super-greasy to keep my hair moisturized after i dry it, like the blue magic (hell yeah, i still use blue magic!) coconut oil i usually use. it's either that or my old tried n'true: luster's pink oil lotion (usually the light formula, because the regular stuff is too heavy on my hair)

I don't have a hair care regimen. I wash it, condition it sometimes but apart from that I don't blow dry it or anything. My hairdressers always say it's in great condition and I think it's because I don't put heat on it. It generally feels soft anyway so I don't think I need to put "stuff" on it

I use Redken Smooth Down Shampoo, Tresemme conditioner or Jungle conditioner from Lush, and also Alfaparf Cristali Serum on my hair. Before I blowdry my hair, I rub a little bit of the serum in it to protect it and it makes it sooo incredibly shiny and it smells so incredible all day. I don't like to use any hairspray or anything sticky in my hair. I get a trim about every 6 weeks and when I do, I usually get a deep-conditioning treatment at the salon.

I wake up in the morning and scrach my head.
If that doesn't work I wash my hair. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

I started moving away from all that gel and mousse cuz my hair was feeling crunchy like the cap'n and drying my scalp out and shit. I'd get out the shower, dry my hair off a little bit and put a "dime sized amount" in my hand just like the bottle says, and "massaged" it in to my hair. It just sat there and didn't do shit. I looked in the mirror and said "That's it? You just sit there and marinate? I gotta be to work in 30 minutes. There's no way my head is gonna be dry by then." and the Luster's said "Bitch, either comb me in like the bottle says or get a blow dryer with a diffuser on it." So I'm getting a diffuser next week...but today I got some of that Motion's Hair Lotion, and Motions is THE quintessential shit. One of Dansa's org hornies
