The Plain Jane Coffee Shop Girl has asked me if i want to go to a New Years Eve Party with her.Normally this would be great. I want the woman to do the approaching. But i want it to be a woman that turns me on!!!!! This sucks. And of course the Pretty Blonde has not invited me to do anything. This has not been my year.

Buddies thought i was crazy for passing up on a night out with a willing female to go trolling but the thought of that did not excite me.

Bluesbaby, I don't think i lack self esteem. How is that? It's just that i like going to the coffee shop and if she is not as friendly after i say no then it could ruin a good thing. I would feel uncomfortable. Now That i think about it I am sort of pissed that she would put be in that position.

Threadbare, i realize that no one will be beautiful forever but i would rather be with someone who was beautiful at one time than not at all. And i know women appreciate it when men make the first move. They could make a career on appreciating that. They have devoted most of their lives to appreciating that. I don't approach anymore because i am tired of playing that game. Not because I don't believe in myself. I am just tired of risking my ass all the time. It's my turn to sit back and enjoy being approached. Men appreciate that risk as well.

Purplekisses, i know about the whole story about the ugly duckling turning into a beauty. But this girl is in her early to mid twenties. I think this is as good as she is ever going to look. Besides, she is not ugly. She is just plain.
