They're called "Soft Paws" or something like that. You can get them at a pet store and you super glue them to your cat's nails. Much more humane than declawing them.

To be honest, I just started putting them on her because I moved in with a female roomie who insisted that I do something about her potential scratching. She's 2 years old and I never put them on her before I moved into my new place. She doesn't really like the Soft Paws (she tries to bite them off), but they don't hurt her, which is why I don't mind.

I can see that - I don't know the particulars around that situation. I do know that his dream job was to be the head coach at Colorado - I'm really sad that he didn't "succeed" there (although I personally think he did a damn good job). I think he's a really good man, regardless of what the press might say - I think we definitely lost a great member of the organization.
