well, im back again.....
and you guessed it, im eating this damn chex mix again thanks for the ambulance advice i may need that later.... CHEX MIX 3 cups Corn Chex® cereal 3 cups Wheat Chex® cereal 1 cup pretzels 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 to 3 teaspoons red pepper sauce 3 cups Rice Chex® cereal 1 cup mixed nuts 1 cup bite-size cheese crackers 1/4 cup margarine or butter* 1 1/4 teaspoons seasoned salt Heat oven to 250°. Melt margarine in large roasting pan in oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. 11 cups snack. *Do not use spread or tub products. thats great, now heres MY take on it ENJOY !!!!! get a huge roasting pan, you know, like for a turkey even then, i am giving you MY recipe, so you will have to make 2-3 batches to get it all cooked.. or, just make what you need. 2 large boxes of corn chex 2 large boxes of rice chex 1 small box of wheat chex 1 - 1 1/2 bags of stick pretzels 3/4 - 1 lb butter (NOT marg.) about 1/8 - 1/4 C Worcestershire sauce - till the sauce is nice and brown probably about 3-4 T garlic powder (not garlic salt) quite a few shakes of cayenne pepper quite a few shakes of seasoning salt coat all pieces, tossing to cover completely. bake uncovered in 250 degree oven for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours stirring about every half hour. store in zipper bags when cooled. im telling you now, dont blame me when you are strung out on this stuff One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111
