If so, cornrows look disgusting on him because his style doesn't support them. Cornrows already elicit a stereotype of thugishness, so if an otherwise nerdy, scruffy white guy -- on whom they're especially conspicuous -- wears them too casually, they look almost patronizing. He should probably offset them by rocking a decidedly upscale look. If he cleaned up that 5 o'clock shadow a bit and threw on some designer shades and a sexy, unencumbered and unhip hop-looking black suit (think Calvin Klein or Banana Republic), he'd look runway worthy. (NOTE: See Tommy Davidson.)

...Even still, though, I like seeing people in cultural aesthetics somewhat closer to their own. As such, Jake, IMO, looks hottest in his chunky specs, scruff, and floppy New York Jew boy hair.

i did this because i was robbed in a store and the robbers taped my eyes and mouth with duc tape. the police had to cut pieces of my hair to free me from it. i told my fellow students from the theatre school i was doing at the time how violated i felt because of that, and they all collected money to send me to this expensive funky hairdresser (George Clinton used to go there sometime) to get something extreme. it kept it until the next performances. that is when this pic is taken.
